CNPC donates RMB 5 million for Yunnan province to help drought fighting

On March 9, CNPC donated RMB 5 million to help Yunnan province fight the chronic drought.

Since the beginning of this year, CNPC has been increasing oil products supply to Yunnan for production and daily use. Up to now, CNPC has accumulatively delivered refined oil products of 500,000 tons, up 10% year on year. Regional branches of PetroChina Yunnan Marketing Company set up designated service stations for drought relief, and opened green channels to give priority to ensuring rapid oil supply to agricultural vehicles as well as vehicles and equipment for anti-drought purpose. Also, by sending oil and water to the worst stricken areas and donating anti-drought materials, volunteers from Yunnan Marketing Company made full efforts to combat drought and ensure oil supply for spring production.

This is the second time for CNPC to make anti-drought donation of RMB 5 million for Yunnan province since 2010.
